Battle Cancer 2021
As a global partner, NOCCO will support Battle Cancer events and fundraising activations throughout 2021 to help raise awareness and funds for cancer charities across the world. Battle Cancer is currently leading with its newly launched Battle Cancer Program – a FREE 12-week strength and fitness program is tailored specifically for those post-cancer treatment. The program is a world-first and has been developed with Dr Colin Robertson, a specialist with over 20 years experience in sport and rehabilitation from disease, along with research from MOVE Forward in Northern Ireland. The Battle Cancer Program is available online now, and will be launching in top gyms across the UK and USA including WIT in London, CrossFit Invictus San Diego, CrossFit Wynward in Miami, and others.
Battle Cancer’s events see teams of four take on playful functional fitness workouts while raising money for a cancer charity close to their hearts. NOCCO has supported Battle Cancer since its first event in Manchester, UK in 2017. Since then, Battle Cancer has raised almost $1m across its events in the UK, Ireland, Germany, Spain and the USA.
With the 2021 event calendar kicking off in June this year in Dublin, Battle Cancer will be revisiting Manchester, Berlin, Madrid, London, Miami, Houston, and San Diego, as well as bringing its challenge to Stockholm, and Toulouse for the first time. Venues will be outdoors where possible and events limited to smaller team numbers to comply with local COVID measures.
